With the revealing of Honda BR-V by Japanese carmaker Honda at the 2015 Indonesian International Auto Show, comparisons of this car has started with all other SUV’s `present in Indian market. Duster, a renowned product of French carmaker Renault is one of the bestselling SUV model and Maruti’s S-cross is other small SUV segment that was launched in July 2015.
Firstly comparing the prices, then BR-V will be costing between Rs 8 lakh – Rs. 12 lakh (ex-showroom).Price of Renault Duster will be Rs 8.3 – 13.7lakhs. Maruti S-Cross will cost around Rs 8.7 – 14.2 Lac.
With respect to dimensions, Honda BR-V vs Renault Duster, Honda BR-V is largest. Its length size is 4455mm whereas length of Duster and Cross is 4315mm and 4300mm. Height and width of BR-V is 1650mm and 1735mm, of Duster is 1695mm and 1822mm and of S-Cross is 1590mm and 1765mm respectively. Coming to wheelbases, then Renault Duster has got highest wheelbase of 2673mm, whereas BR-V has 2,660mm and S-Cross wheelbase is of 2600mm.Also, Renault has got the highest ground clearance.

Coming to power specifications, Honda BRV will be powered by 1.5 litre iVTEC petrol power-plant or 1.5 liter diesel mill which can provide power up to 118Ps and torque up to 200Nm.Maruti S-Cross is accompanied by 1.6-litre 16V DDiS 320 Diesel Engine which can deliver maximum power of 118Nm and maximum torque of 320Nm.Talking about Duster, then Renault offers three powering engines to this vehicle. They are a a 1.5-litre diesel tuned to make 85bhp, 103bhp 1.6-litre petrol motor, and another 1.5-litre diesel motor making 108.5bhp.Out of the three, Honda BR-V is expected to offer highest mileage (17kmpl to 18kmpl in petrol variant and 24kmpl to 25kmpl in diesel variant). Mileage offered by Renault Duster and Maruti S-Cross is 16.1kmpl (19.72kmpl in diesel variant) and 18.03kmpl (22.07kmpl in diesel variant) respectively.
